Weight: 14.00 The Softail ® chassis has long been a challenge for suspension guys. The shocks are hidden under the frame, which makes common adjustments difficult. Not any more. The engineering team over at Progressive has come up with a clever solution. They call it RAP (or Remote Adjustable Preload) and it combines their high performance shocks with a remote preload adjuster. Conveniently located behind the left passenger peg, their RAP system allows for easy turning of the shocks to account for changing loads or the addition of a passenger. Packing a lot of gear for a big ride? Give the knob a few turns and the bike is set. Riding solo? A few rotations in the other direction softens things up.
